TRANS-NZOIA SENATOR ALLAN CHESANG PRESENT DURING THE LAUNCH.

A new dawn for the people of Trans-Nzoia as the county leadership launch, together with the Toyota team, a branch in Kitale town, by Terranova Autospares limited.

Speaking during the launch, the Senator, Allan Chesang, expressed his gratitude to the county governor, Hon George Natembeya, for presiding over such a historic moment.

In his address, Senator Allan Chesang has said that the launch of Toyota Kitale promises immense benefits to various sectors in the region which includes Transport and, logistics by improving mobility and transport solutions to businesses and, residents, Enhance energy efficiency and, sustainable solutions to power the growing county, Education opportunities for skills development and, access to quality education through partnerships and investments, Agriculture and Livestock by enhancing modern farming tools, boost productivity and food security and, Trade and Industry through the diverse opportunities for different businesses in the region to thrive and, contribute to the vibrant economy.

He added that unemployment being one of the major issues facing the youths across the country, as a county they are determined to narrow the gap through partnerships. Therefore, the Senator encouraging the company to prioritize the numerous job opportunities to the youths of Trans-Nzoia which will result in , less idleness, more skills acquisition and better their lives.

Trans-Nzoia governor, George Natembeya has said that he is delighted to witness the growing interests of investors who recognize the immense potential for development in the county. He officiated the launch which took place in Maili Saba, off the Kitale-Eldoret road in Waitaluk ward. The Governor commended the Toyota team for already initiating training programs for at least 100 drivers from the county government and, a number of skilled mechanic which will nurture expertise in safety.

The governor has said they are exploring opportunities to engage the company in the supply of motorcycles for agricultural field officers a move that will significantly contribute to the modernization of the agricultural sector in the county. Governor Natembeya asked the youths from the local technical institutions to seek internship opportunities from Toyota which will equip them with practical skills necessary for the job market.

Speaking during the launch, Mr. Simon Mwiti, the Network and, sales General Manager at Cooperation for Africa and Overseas (CFAO), astutely pointed out that bringing these essential services closer to the residents of Trans-Nzoia will yield substantial cost savings for motor vehicle owners who previously had to seek services in Eldoret.

In his conclusion, Senator Chesang has urged the people to embrace this chapter in the county’s journey towards progress and, prosperity in order to unlock new possibilities for Trans-Nzoia.
