SENATOR ALLAN CHESANG HOSTS THE MPs AND WOMEN REPRESENTATIVE OF TRANS-NZOIA.
Trans-Nzoia Senator, Allan Chesang, has on Wednesday the 14th of June 2023. host a breakfast Caucus in his Nairobi office. This breakfast meeting was a call to Trans-Nzoia leadership on different areas of development, leadership and service delivery to the people of Trans-Nzoia.
The exclusive indoor meeting which was held for 2hours was an opportunity for the leaders to exchange ideas and strategic planning on key initiatives and projects that can propel the county forward and enhance the well-being of the community.
The Caucus gathered distinguished leaders with a shared vision for the development of Trans-Nzoia county. This is a county which is a basket of the country in terms of Agriculture and general food production. They explored on ways to restructure the Agricultural sector, increase yields and provide ready markets for the farmers for their produce. This will be a huge step to improving the sector and also help the local farmer.
During the meeting, it has been an invaluable opportunity for them to deliberate upon the proposed Financial Bill of 2023/2024 financial year. They meticulously reviewed its provisions, evaluated potential implications, and, engaged in constructive discourse. By having a discussion on this bill, exchanging different views and ideas they were striving on making informed decision that uphold the best interests of the people.
Senator Allan Chesang reiterated on the importance of a unified leadership as they dispatch their duties to the people of Trans-Nzoia. He has said that leaders should not hesitate to consult each other on ways to better the livelihoods of its people. The MPs and Woman Rep, Hon Siyoi, were in agreement of the Senators’ input on unity and the importance of leaders coming together to strategize accordingly. Hon Bisau stated that a unified county leadership will propel not only development, but also set an example to other counties on what unity can achieve.
The meeting has served as a platform for insightful discussions, aiming at advancing the county’s growth, fostering unity among leaders, and, deliberating on issues arising and affecting the people of Trans-Nzoia. They closed the exclusive meeting with brief media interview to address the agenda of the breakfast meeting. A brief light moments were shared and the host, Hon Allan Chesang, gifted his host with executive personalized notebooks to ensure continuation of service delivery.
