INAUGURATION OF ST. JOHN’S MISSION HOSPITAL.

TRANS-NZOIA SENATOR PRESENT AT SIRENDA WARD,KIMININI CONSTITUENCY.

Senator Allan Chesang has been among the few distinguished leaders to attend the inauguration of St. Johns’ Mission Hospital today in Sirenda ward, Kiminini constituency. I has been an event graced by the CS for Health, Ms. Susan Nakhumicha, Governor George Natembeya of Trans-Nzoia county, Members of Parliament, Members of County assembly, Chiefs, the Church leadership and, the congregants of the church from Trans-Nzoia.

The Senator has been pleased to see leaders come together for the good of the people in matters healthcare. In his speech he acknowledged the challenges faced by the people of Trans-Nzoia in matters health and, thanked the Governor for facilitating and, equipping the hospital. Moreover, Senator Chesang has acknowledged his oversight role in ensuring that the National Government allocates money to the county to ensure such projects are concluded. Sen Allan has thanked the hospitals and, the staff at large for offering crucial services by restoring hope and, comfort to those who are suffering.

Speaking during the inauguration of the hospital, the Senator said that he identified the health challenges and played his role as a leaders by bringing in partners, doctors and, surgeons form United States, through his foundation, The Allan Chesang Foundation, and, provided FREE medical services including surgeries and, medication, for 4 days to the people of Trans-Nzoia and the neighboring counties. This free medical camp oversaw over ten thousand patients getting help at the Kitale county and, referral hospital.

Earlier, the Senator attended the burial of Mzee Richard, who passed away. He joined the mourners and together they comforted the family of Mzee Richard Cheruiyot of Bukwet farm, Kiminini constituency in Trans-Nzoia county. He has described his friend as a kind man who loved and served his county and, country until his departure.

Thereafter, Trans-Nzoia Senator was honored to visit his friend, Mzee Kibirech Arap Chemiron, in Maili-Saba. He was humbled to receive wise counsel from him and, thanked him for his beautiful and generous hospitality. Unlike many Senators who rarely visit their respective counties, Trans-Nzoia Senator is different. Apart from his oversight role and, other legislative duties, he diligently interact with his people at the grass-root level, listen to them and, attend to individual needs in his capacity.
