Friday has been a new and, joyous dawn for the people of Trans-Nzoia county after the Skyward express launched their direct flights to Kitale. The local airline had expressed unfavorable business environment as their top concern that led to the suspension of direct flights.

Skyward express on the other side has introduced direct flights to Kitale sighting high demand on the route. The local airline has deployed a Dash8-Q100 aircraft to fly the Nairobi-Kitale route with passengers paying as low as Ksh 6900 for one way.

Skywards’ expansions comes at a time when the aviation industries are recovering from an induced impact caused by flight cancellations and, closure of borders after Covid-19 happened.
