The National Government has made a call of planting five billion trees in the next 5 years in a bid to combat climate change. The office of the senator intends to plant 100 million trees in 5 years.
The Hon. Senator will be launching an aggressive tree-planting campaign with a marathon on the 23rd Dec, 2022. The non-profit Marathon will create awareness, promote tree planting, and educate the people of Trans-Nzoia County on alternative tree energy in a bid to eradicate tree cutting.
